For early registration, we accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle (fees may apply), as well as personal checks (prepayment optional). However, we must receive your payment by 9/21/2022 for pre-registration. Otherwise, all fees paid on-site must be in cash, no exceptions. If you would like to use any of the third party services (PayPal, Venmo or Zelle), select your Payment Option prior to checking out and you can transfer your funds accordingly. Unfortunately, the room block for the tournament hotel (Embassy Suites) is SOLD OUT. But not to worry, there are many nearby hotels with comparable rates to the original $139 tournament rate (some lower, some higher). Transportation is also available via the Embassy Suites Shuttle (first call, first serve - airport priority), or the Shootout Shuttle; a private tournament shuttle service (seats 5) helping to move players between the local overflow hotels and Embassy Suites. Just text your location to 3o3.356.3679, and a Shootout Shuttle will transport you (volunteer drivers only, so tips appreciated). The Wild West Shootout is part of the American Backgammon Tour (ABT), as such, USBGF membership is required to play in this tournament. If you are not currently a member, you can join with a small donation of $45 a year. To become a member, visit the USBGF.
Early registration only requires that you select which division you intend to play. As a convenience, ABT and optional side events are available and may also be selected and paid for, but prepayment is optional. You may also sign up and pay for those same optional events at the door (again, cash only).
